So I thought I would make a general post about all the unimportant things happening around the world before moving on to information regarding future postings. If you don’t care about Prison Break, Dexter or TV in general then you may aswell hit the jump and scroll towards the end of this post.

When I am not working i like to put my feet up and either spend time with my family, play some Xbox 360 or watch some TV.

I watch quite a few american shows religiously as I am sure many of you do too. Most notably Prison Break and Dexter. If you havent seen either show yet then you really should. Prison Break is on its 4th series right now and is just as fresh as it’s first whilst Dexter is on its 3rd series. What are they?

Prison break

If I tell you that Prison Break is about a group of prisoners breaking out from prison I don’t think i’m going to ruin it for you am I?. The reason I am posting about this now is because it is now coming to a conclusion and it is very exciting. SPOILER: Michael Schofield has just organised a plan to break into a building that has the best security system in the world and succeeded in walking out with a piece of hardware known as Scylla.

Scylla is “The Company’s” black book and contains the information needed by the police to take the company down for good however the guy from the police department “Self” has cheated Schofield and the gang and managed to take Scylla in a bid to sell it on so they are now trying to track him down and retrieve the device…AGAIN.

I may not be the best at explaining a story but i hope you get the gist of it and WATCH IT. An amazing series with few flaws.

Dexter

Dexter is quite simply a genius show and fits right into my favourites. Dexter is a blood spatter expert working for the police tracking down serial killers. The twist is that Dexter is also a serial killer that only kills other murderers.

Dexter covers his tracks pretty well but things still manage to get in the way. Watch it and you will be hooked.

Future Postings

Over the coming weeks I am going to be creating a number of video tutorials on creating a website starting from the basics leading up to more advanced material suc as PHP & MySql.

First part of the tutorial is going to be “3 Column Layout Using CSS” so watch out for that in the next couple of days. Most of the tutorials will involve using Adobe products, mainly Dreamweaver and Photoshop so you should have them at the ready.

OK, This is the first of many rants I am sure but I am hoping it will let some steam out so I can relax a little more when watching I’m a celebrity get me out of here.

The problem i am having with the show isn’t the Witchetty Grub’s, Timmy Mallett or David Van Day. It is the stupid bitch by the name of Nicola Mclean who got her fame by shoving her tits into a grow bag on Halloween.

The main issue started when Timmy & David first entered the jungle and immediately she shown her selfish side by stating straight away that she wouldn’t be handing over anything of hers in order to set them free on the first night.

Now, the not handing over side I agree with as they were right in what they were saying about the first night is fine etc and not worth losing their special posessions for. That side is fully understandable but the way Nicola stated the fact was not!! From that moment she began to hate the people that NEARLY made her lose her mascara (You look like shit anyway Nicola, Make-up works better if you smile once in a while).

Upon Timmy and David’s entry into the jungle, Nicola has been on a mission to make David’s life hell. She has consistently bullied, bitched and snarled about him and is trying to drag everyone else into it too.

Ok so it is true that David and Timmy ARE annoying but that doesnt mean that she should treat them like she does. They hold their own against her but it makes bad viewing for me as I really do not appreciate that kind of thing just because she wants to make a name for herself.

She simply sits there with a snarl on her face and I have not seen her smile in days. If you can’t handle the heat, get out of the jungle. David is putting up with you and if anything he should be forced to walk out to get away from you.

Message to Nicola Mclean

1. Your tits are fucking ugly

3. Your attitude stinks
4. You are a bully
5. You are NOT a celebrity

People need to stop voting for her and get her out of there. I understand that people want to keep her in as a bit of arguing always makes better viewing but enough is enough. I understood voting for Jordan when she was in there as she was bitchy but a bitch with a heart. Nicola Mclean has no heart to go with her bitchiness and deserves to be thrown out by the public.

Now do as Fatty says and STOP VOTING FOR NICOLA MCLEAN. Rant Over

I have been playing my XBOX 360 on my 50″ Sony Bravia – Rear Projection for around a year now but lately i have noticed a nasty ghosting of the text an images.

This problem has caused me to actually die!! no really…. i have died numerous times on Call of Duty 4 and its all because of Sony, The bastards (My excuse and i am sticking to it ;p)

When playing games like COD4 and Assassins Creed it is unfair that you are unable to witness the true greatness and quality in the graphics so i was forced to smash up the TV and buy a new 14″ Portable……Well, actually, I found out how to solve the problem so my beloved TV was my friend again.

It seems there are settings within a hidden engineers menu in the Sony Bravia series (not sure if its the same in others) so im going to explain how you can do it yourself as this is a problem all the bravias will face at some stage.

Ok so here goes

To access the hidden menu, turn your TV into standby mode and press the following.

[i+] (little button with i+ in a kind of tv icon)

Press Channel 5

Press Volume UP

Press Analogue (its the middle button on the top of the remote)

Once you have pressed these buttons in succession your tv should boot up onto a new screen with large green letters. This shows that its so far so good and we can now proceed to the more complicated settings.

Press the menu button (At the bottom of the remote)

You will then be presented with a new menu down the left hand side of the screen.

Use the direction buttons on the remote and move down to the LCD Drivers option and press right to enter the menu.

You are now presented with a new menu / option screen.

There are three settings that need changing and all relate to the synchronizing of the horizontal RGB (Red,Green,Blue) and simply shifts the colours back into position.

Move down to “S H POS REG R” – The settings should currently be set at 10. Press right to change the value to 11. Do the same for S H POS REG G and then move down to the bottom of the screen keep pressing down until you see S H POS REG B and change the value to 11 then press the menu button to back out of the menu before pressing standby.

Now simply press standby again to start up your TV and your problem should be sorted.
