productivedreams.com are not very productive so it seems…
On my usual rounds searching google for sites linking to my site I came across this site. Seems that productive dreams are “apparently” creating a site for Smashing Magazine which is an absolute blatant rip off of this very site. They even decided to try and steal my persona although not very good..!!
Makes me wonder how a company with productive in their title actually gain business. When I bought my domain, fatbastard.co.uk was already taken hence my spelling and now a supposedly creative company and (maybe) a popular magazine want to steal visitors from me by creating my doppelganger. Well, good luck with that. It takes more than just a domain name to be a popular site.
If either party would like to comment on the issue I welcome your response.

TBH I am not really that bothered. It is just annoying when somebody does this. It is not something I would expect, certainly from one of the parties “involved”.

Totally incorrect. Productive Dreams and Smashing Magazine have absolutely nothing to do with fatbastard.co.uk
I assume you associated them to fatbastard.co.uk by the links which remained on the original Wordpress template.
I am an individual who runs the site in my spare time and thought I’d set the record straight. I’m certainly not trying to steal your traffic!
Incidentally, I also own the domain names fatbitch.co.uk and fatcunt.co.uk, which will, some time in 2010, see the light of day.

At the time of the post your website stated that it was being developed for Smashing Magazine so naturally i would assume that it was indeed being developed for them although if you note my wording in my post i never once held it to that indefinitely.

This blog is rarely updated now i just leave it here as a reference as i have moved onto other things.
